Hello everyone! How are your holidays? I know you can’t stop eating. I mean, who can say no to that savory chicken and scrumptious lechon because I can’t. 2017 is over. It was a roller coaster of emotions. It made me realize a lot of things in my life. However, there are also a handful of things that I wasn’t able to do last year. I want to be the best version of myself in 2018. Here is the list of my New Year’s Resolutions:

1. Learn to Forgive

I put this on top of my list because forgiving is something that is really hard for me to do. I don’t get mad easily and I am a patient person. But I (admit) hold grudges. I’m ready to build new bridges. I want to have a peace of mind this 2018.

2. Avoid Negativity

I want to be genuinely happy this year. In order to do that is to face the reality of life. I must accept that life is not always rainbows and butterflies. Problems will always hit you in the most unexpected way. That’s what makes us stronger.

3. Own Who You Are

One of the reasons why I blog is to inspire girls. I want every girl to feel how beautiful they are (inside and out). However, I am a human being and sometimes I still get insecure. I still feel jealous when I see girls that are labeled as beautiful by our society’s standards. In able to inspire others, I need to start on myself. I will accept my flaws and own who I am. <3

4. Stop Chasing People

I know it hurts when people leave. But it hurts even more when you force someone to stay that obviously wants to leave. Stop hurting yourself. Treasure the people who are willing to stay and love you for who you are.

5. Living Healthy

I often get sick. Ever since I started working, I don’t take care of myself anymore. I often eat junk food and processed food. I started having pimples and that doesn’t happen when I was still studying. A healthy body is a clear skin and a happy mind. I want to take care of myself better.
